Group Music Therapy Sessions

Our group music therapy sessions offer interactive, engaging experiences designed to foster connection, collaboration, and skill-building. These sessions are ideal for schools, residential programs, senior communities, mental health facilities, community centers, and other therapeutic or recreational programs.

Why Group Music Therapy Matters

Group music therapy provides a unique space where participants can connect, communicate, and build meaningful relationships. Unlike traditional recreational activities, these sessions use structured and creative musical experiences to promote social engagement, cooperation, and emotional expression, helping participants feel included, supported, and empowered in a collaborative setting.

Settings We Serve

We partner with a wide range of organizations to bring therapeutic music experiences to their communities, including:

  • Schools and Special Education Programs
  • Residential and Assisted Living Facilities
  • Senior Communities and Memory Care
  • Mental Health and Wellness Facilities
  • Community Centers and Day Programs
  • Therapeutic or Recreational Youth Programs

How Group Sessions Work

Structured & Creative Activities

These experiences are carefully planned to meet the group’s unique goals. Activities may include group instrument playing, songwriting, therapeutic singing, or music-assisted relaxation

Social & Emotional Skill-Building

Through collaborative music making, participants practice essential life skills such as turn-taking, listening, empathy, and positive peer interaction

Tailored to the Group

No two groups are the same. We adjust our approach based on the age, cognitive level, and physical abilities of the participants to ensure everyone can fully engage

Meaningful Participation & Growth

Every individual is encouraged to participate in a way that feels comfortable for them. By providing a safe and expressive environment, we help participants build confidence and achieve their potential

Professional Standards

Our services are provided by a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) who has completed an approved university program, a 1,200-hour clinical internship, and a national board examination. We adhere to the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Code of Ethics and the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) Standards of Clinical Practice.

All group sessions are grounded in evidence-based practice, HIPAA-compliant, and delivered with the highest level of clinical professionalism to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of every client.
